Hey , hows it going?

My trip has gotten off to a flyer! I have had the best luck thus far with my travels.

Since I left Tassie everything has gone famously.

The goldie was all time and for a week I just hung out with Buggo and scored perfect snapper rocks and Burleigh heads. I got to meet heaps of pró surfers (Mick Fanning, Danny Wills) and even got pissed with Beau Emerton (aka emo) at the cult party. I developed a tan without trying and by the end of the week could hardly be bothered surfing or drinking any more beer.

Sydney came just at the right time. I hooked up with my old mate Clarkey and his better half Cath and crashed in their spare room for 4 days. I really didn’t do much in Sydney except hang out , do a bit of city stuff, sleep lots and drink um beer.

Now here I am in NewZealand Hanging out with Bronny Galpin the expat tassie girl with little patience for boredom and a flair for finding fun stuff to do.

Let me back track a little.

I landed in New Zealand a bit over a week ago and headed straight for NZ’s premiere surfing location Raglan. I had hooked up a bit of accommodation near the surf and rolled in. It took a little bit longer to get to Raglan than I though and with the 2hour time delay from OZ to NZ, I was getting in right on dark. That was cool, I made it and found the place and then proceeded to meet heaps of travellers and watched movies and drank um well, beer.

Next day the surf was flat so I went touring and sussed the breaks. That evening, there was a feast on and everyone went to the pub where we partied like it was 1999 and ended up crashing out at 4 in the morning. Next think it’s 8:30 and I’m out at 6foot plus Indicators chasing big walls and even bigger hold downs (beer and big walls hmmmmm not a good combo). The next few days were just wicked and I hung out with a really unreal surfer chick called Hayley…

Now here I am in Queenstown with Bron and we have been going out in this little snow town and hmm need I say, having a drink and waiting for the conditions to hopefully improve so I can go snow boarding! We did a day trip yesterday to Milford Sound with Bron and 2 of her friends - Scott and Katie.
Milford sound is this massive fiord with huge cliffs and waterfalls. The boat ride was awe inspiring. A place to visit if you are ever here.

So what can I say, do it, save up or sell your shit and get out here and get amongst it. I am having the time of my f*&^kin life!
